Click to Pay (C2P)

Click to Pay (C2P) is a global, secure payment solution based on the EMVCo standard, supported by the world's leading card networks. It allows you to check out at participating online merchants quickly, without having to type your card number, expiration date, or security code every time you pay.

Unlike device-specific digital wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, Click to Pay is a cloud-based solution. Your identity is verified directly at the merchant's checkout using your registered email address or phone number — no app download required.

💡 Your card details are never shared with the merchant. Instead, a secure digital token is used to process the transaction, which significantly reduces the risk of fraud.

How does Click to Pay work?

When you pay at a merchant that displays the Click to Pay icon, the process is straightforward:

  1. At checkout, select Click to Pay as your payment method.
  2. Enter your registered email address or phone number to identify yourself.
  3. Choose your Clara card from your saved cards.
  4. Done — your payment is processed securely using a digital token.

Which Clara cards are compatible?

Click to Pay is available for the following card types:

  • Virtual cards
  • White cards
  • Black cards

⚠️ Fleet and Travel cards are not compatible with Click to Pay at this time.

What can you do with Click to Pay in Clara?

Register a card in Click to Pay

You can enroll your Clara cards in Click to Pay directly from your Clara account. During enrollment, you will be shown the Terms & Conditions that apply to the service. Each user can register and manage their own cards.

View your registered cards

Once enrolled, you can see which of your Clara cards are registered in Click to Pay, along with the benefits they carry.

Register multiple cards at once

If you have more than one eligible Clara card, you can enroll several cards in Click to Pay in a single action — saving you time.

Remove a card from Click to Pay

You can de-register any of your Clara cards from Click to Pay at any time. The card will remain active for regular use; it simply will no longer be recognized by merchants as a Click to Pay card.

Who can manage Click to Pay?

All user roles — Admin, Manager, Employee, and Accountant — can enroll and manage their own cards in Click to Pay. Each user is responsible for their own cards only.

Security & privacy

Click to Pay replaces your physical card number (PAN) with a secure digital token for every transaction. This means:

  • Merchants never see your real card number.
  • Each transaction uses a unique token, reducing the risk of data theft.
  • Your identity is verified at every purchase with an OTP sent to your registered device or email.
