Is there a cancellation policy for Clara cards?

To keep your account clean, safe, and easy to manage, Clara automatically cancels Virtual and White (physical) cards that haven’t been used for a long time.

This policy does not apply to Black cards.

When can a card be canceled?

Your Virtual or White card may be canceled if it meets any of the following conditions:

  1. Never activated
    It was created more than 6 months ago and was never activated in the Clara app.

  2. Blocked or frozen for over 6 months
    The card has been continuously blocked or frozen for more than 6 months.

  3. No activity for the past 12 months
    No payments, withdrawals, or transactions have been made during this period.

💡 You’ll be notified in advance: We’ll send you an email 1 month and 1 week before the cancellation date.

Once a card is canceled, it can’t be reactivated. But don’t worry — you can request a new one anytime through the platform. It’s quick and free.

No. Black cards are not subject to this cancellation policy.

How can I prevent my card from being canceled?
Make sure to activate or use your card at least once every 6 months.

What if I activate or use the card after receiving the cancellation notice?
If you activate or use the card after being notified, it won’t be canceled. We automatically detect activity, and your card will remain active.
